Grades WTF!?!?

All of my grades are in now.

Con Law= A
Business Management= A-
Intro to Global Climate Change= A
Religion & Politics=A
History of Ancient Philo=F

WTF?!?!?!?

My grade on WebCT says I got an A.  Why is my official grade an F?  I've already e-mailed the professor to get it fixed.  This freaks me out.  I know it isn't right, but DAMN.  Ok, I got perfect scores on almost ALL assignments and never lost more than 1 piint on any minor assignment and only lost 2 points one 12 major paper.  ARGH!!!!!!!  Drive me crazy!  The worst part is I have this professor next semester as well.  I e-mailed and told her about the discrepancy and asked her to fix it, noting what my grade on WebCT is.  I'm guessing shew either entered someone elses grades on my line (there were some F's) or she out a couple of assignments.

A- in Business Management (Expected)
A in Introduction to Global Climate Change (w00t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I should be getting an A in Ancient Philosophy because I've done near perfect on all assignments.
I'm really not sure about Religion & Politics.  96 on the first test and a 90.5 on the second, but the paper is 40%!

I did almost all my Christmas shopping today.  Still need to get a couple things that will require driving to the mall and I have to actually paint stuff.
Things are going fine with E.  Met a couple of her friends last night.  They were pretty cool.  I'll meet more at Gulf, which should be "interesting."  They are now trying to get me to go to Artemisian Crown Tourney in April.  It's the same weekend as Elfsea and they can't understand why I don't want to skip that event.

IT WAS SO COLD!!!!!!!!!!

All I can say is I am SO glad the list was triple elim!

Day-tripped with Ulsted.  The ride wasn't that bad, just a bit long for waking up at 5am after going to bed at 1:40 am.  Good conversation with someone I haven't spent that much time with in last few years made it much more bearable.  Anyway, we got to the event and as soon as I got out I wanted to go home.  It was amazingly cold!  It wasn't that bad when we left, so I didn't take any real cold weather apparel.  I did pick ups with Ingve.  My dagger work was great, but my primary was basically useless.  Then I fought with Layla and practically walked onto her blade repeatedly.  Yay!  Things were going great for me.  Then the tourney started.
Round 1:  Single.  Duke Aaron.  A skilled fighter.  It is possible for me to take him, but I'm going to have to work HARD for it.  I fought WAY too cautious.  I was just unsure of what to do against Aaron, especially when I'm fighting single.  He came in, I missed the parry, and he stabbed me. Good point for Aaron.
Round 2: Defensive.  Rurik.  I took buckler.  Rurik is a good fighter and it should be a good fight.  I can beat him, but if I make a mistake, I know he will make me pay.  I made a mistake and paid for it!  I went for the leg shot, covering my head with the buckler, but I didn't rotate the wrist and Rurik got a shot just over my buckler into the top of my mask.  I hit the ground and Rurik helped me up and asked if I was ok.  I said I couldn't feel my fingers and went to the restroom and ran hot water over my fingers.  Rurik later asked what happened, because I normally block that shot.  It was just so cold that I couldn't get my body to work fast enough to rotate the wrist.  He also told me that I would have had the leg shot if I had followed through as I had just touched him.
Round 3: Offensive.  John from Bryn Gwlad.  I woke up!  I took dagger, he took stick.  Decent fight.  I had never fought him before, but after how well he did at Queen's I wasn't going to give him an inch.  I killed him with an outside shot over the stick to the neck.
Round 4: Don Maelgwyn.  I had never fought him before  and wasn't sure what to expect.  Fun fight.  I wound up taking it with a shot to the chest.  Great call on his part since the pressure was marginal.
Round 5:  Renee.  I haven't fought Renee in years, but it's ALWAYS been fun.  I think we've traded wins on each other.  I knew he had been doing well and I could tell why.  He had a VERY tight defense.  I couldn't get the high sword side shot I wanted, so I disengaged under the dagger and stabbed him in the lower abdomen.  Good fight, as always, I think I just really caught him off guard with the low shot.
Round 6: Bye (Avery).  Avery was just not having a good day.  I took dagger and he went single.  I took his off hand tossed my dagger.  I went in for a close and he hesitated so I threw a shot and popped him.  He called good and said "I'm done."  Apparently, right before I threw the shot, he's knee popped and decided it didn't want to do anything else.  I felt bad since I had been in that situation before quite a few times.
Round 7: The top 8.  Corvin.  Corvin had buckler and I had my dagger.  I had been fighting a somewhat lower guard all day and Corvin held a lower guard in response to it, cutting off what I had wanted to do.  I went for a side shot and stepped WAY too shallow for the shot I threw.  I parried Corvin's shot, but it was too late.  I felt some contact, then it drug and I called it good.  Corvin asked me about it, but I thought it was good enough and the tourney was done for me.
Congrats to Ingve on winning.
I did pickups with Rixende.  Oh man did she bring it.  Great fights!
I also fought the youth fighter Miguel and he owned me.  Teach me to take it easy on him.  As I started ramping up, I saw his weaknesses, but he is going to be a force!
Earlier in the day, I fought Tiffany as part of the youth showcase where the youths challenged fighters.  She legged me.  Then as she stepped in, disengaged under her dagger and shot for the center of her chest, but she pulled back just enough to where I just toucher her tunic.  Next pass I disengaged over her dagger and tapped her on the mask.  Another great fight.  I was very impressed with the caliber of the youth fighters.

So the semester is almost over. 
I already have one grade: A- in Management.  I wanted an A, but this last test tough and I didn't prep well enough. 
I have a Climate Change test worth 36% of the grade.  My other Climate tests were 88, 92, and 90 so I'm sitting on a 90 average.
Religion and Politics has a test worth 15% of the grade and a term paper worth 40% due next week.
My grades have been great in Ancient Philo.  I have 48 out of 50 on the papers with only one 10 point paper left.  Things are not going well on that paper though.  It's due Wednesday.
Con Law is totally up in the air.  I got a 92 on the Mid-Term.  I'm not sure how the final will go.  I already turned the term paper in.  I'm not sure how Dr. Carp will take it, but it's what he asked for.

SCA:
Queen's was a LOOOOOOOOOOONG drive.  It was fun.  I went up with Dad, Cael & Ulsted.  It was a pretty enjoyable drive.  I went farther in this Queen's than I had in any other.  I went 5 rounds, being eliminated by the eventual winner, Crowley in round 5 after receiving my second Queen's Rapier.  I was floored when Queen Ginevria gave me that.  I know have case of Queen's Rapier.  I think my best fight was with Don Elrique in round 4.  That was FUN.  My fight with Crowley ended fairly quickly because of poor buckler placement on my part.

BAM did not go well for rapier on Saturday.  On Friday we had a Tourney with half Ansteorrans & half Gleann Abhanners.  I did not due well in that tourney, but I had just come from having to get Don Robert jump my truck.  Needed a new battery.  Ran one scenario twice on Saturday & called it a day due to rain.  Needless to say, my mind was elsewhere and my fighting was less than great.  The parties afterwards were awesome though.  Had lots of fun.

Not sure what the next event I am going to is...perhaps Centurion War College.  Not going to 12th Night.  Going to Ioannes' going away party.  I will be at Crown and Coastal Invasion.  Going to Kingdom A&S in Feb.  Gulf in March, but not sure what else.

IFD!

I Fight Dragons! was fucking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to the concert with S&S.  It turned into a a birthday present.  They even got me a shirt.  J&L showed up just before they went on.  During the song "Hands Up, Hearts Down" Laura from the band saw that I was wearing that shirt and gave me dap.  Best part ever!!!  After the show I got to meet the band and talk a little with them.  Well, S talked with them and I hung out.  They were going crazy with the fact that he had bought their Lifetime Membership card.  It was great.  Their 30-40 minute set was too short.  Whole Wheat Bread was ok, but we were ready to go after IFD.  We got to walk by the Dragon Wagon one last time and it was done.  Fucking awesome.  Tomorrow I have a presentation and a test.  Yay!

I repeat, I Fight Dragons! was fucking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
